  3. Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Strategy, and greening private label product development for a Retailer.

For a national government’s agriculture department, conducted two research projects with over 110 interviews and literature review, with recommendations on improving public trust in the beef, dairy, pork, poultry, and grains sectors, for domestic and export markets; presented recommendations to joint government-industry committees.

  5. For a genetically engineered seafood producer with an outstanding sustainability story, multi-pronged engagement strategy to maintain sales channel viability with retailers and foodservice to overcome advocacy group campaign.

  6. Helped launch the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity, with its transparency and public trust focus, led food sector engagement/business development, collaborated on consumer research, communications, and government, farm group engagement.

  7. For a national livestock farmer association, enabled enhanced retailer and restaurant engagement by developing new messaging/presentation material, a food safety/animal welfare/ environment Key Performance Indicator scorecard, and arranged meetings.

  8. Development of positioning and messaging strategy for a sustainable fashion start-up.

  9. For a collaborative initiative to increase supply chain transparency from farm level through efficient electronic data sharing, led the food sector engagement and collaborated on overall strategy development and farm association engagement.
